1.0 OBJECTIVE
To describe the procedures for using ERP in academic activities.
2.0 SCOPE
This SOP is applicable for
- Attendance monitoring (Input of Class Attendance).
Registration approval (by Advisor).
Course-wise marks entry .
Getting consolidated marks.
Obtaining semester-wise registered students list.
Attaining teacher's course load and distribution.
Finding students performance report.
Viewing student Info.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
All the Faculties, NUB.
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY
IT in-charge, NUB.
5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Entry in the ERP account.
N.B. Entry requires your Employee ID and Password.
To enter into the account of individual account follow the steps listed below.
Step-1: Go in the university web page.
Step-2: Click on student portal.
Step-3: Replace (Red) http://182.160.97.196:8088/studentportal/site/login
Alternatively you can type 172.16.1.15:8088/NUB in the address bar if you are using NUB’s internet service.
Step-4: Enter your ID and Password and press NUB IN. Alternatively Press Enter button.
Step-5: Now you are logged in your account.
5.2 Attendance monitoring.
Attendance is to be monitored daily by the faculties by means of the ERP. Follow the steps as given below.
Step-1: Move your cursor over the Academic portion. Scroll below and stop on the class attendance portion. Click on it to enter into the class attendance section.
Step-3: Clicking on New Class Attendance will open a new dialog box. Fill all the portions (relevant for your course).
Step-4: A list of the registered students of the course you entered will open. Now you have to remove the tick marks for the absent students and press
Create button.
Step-5: Successful entry will be confirmed with the following information’s.
In order to edit click on Edit button. After editing click on Update button. Remember this Class Attendance List icon. This would require for next step.

The Update button is at the same location as the Edit button.
Step-6: If you want to view previous class attendances them, just click on the Class Attendance List icon if you are in the current attendance page or enter manually through Step:1. (Actually this the page obtained in Step: 2. Which was first appeared in the attendance entry process.)

After opening of your desired attendance click on the blue colour code lying at the left side of the table. Code. Desired attendance can be found in the following ways:
1. Any: Any hints. e.g. Course Code- phrm 2114. (Opens all the possible attendances).
2. Code: Any code. e.g. M-000433. (Opens only coded specific attendance).
3. Semester: Any enlisted semester. e.g. Fall 2016. (Opens only the ID holders attendances).
4. Program: Any enlisted program e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) . (Opens all the possible attendances regarding pharmacy).
5. Course Code: Any Course Code. e.g. phrm 3129. (Opens only the encoded attendances).
6. Attendance date : Any particular date chosen ffrom the calender.
e.g. 01/08/2017. (Opens all the possible attendances for August 01, 2017).
e.g. 01/08/2017. (Opens all the possible attendances for August 01, 2017).
